Regular inspection of explosion-proof video recorders?

A higher-level authority came for an inspection and issued a list; one item on that list stated that the explosion-proof video recorder had not been inspected within the required time frame. I would like to ask gently: how should this be inspected? Are there any standards or regulations that require such inspections?

I really didn’t notice that! Theoretically, that’s the case, but I’m not sure if it’s actually necessary. Not to mention explosion-proof instruments; even those who are responsible for testing the explosion-proof properties of explosion-proof electrical equipment don’t know how to do it: L
It’s the explosion-proof cameras on site; I’ve never encountered them either
I really have no idea what the inspectors are thinking; I don’t know if they will open the distribution cabinet next time and point to each electrical component, asking us to check them. I checked many regulations, but couldn’t find anything related to explosion-proof video recorders!
I really haven’t seen this before, but some experts these days act in that way: when you go for an inspection, they have to find some problems, otherwise how can they show that they’re competent?
