A work team is the smallest and most fundamental fighting unit in a company, and team leaders are often referred to as the ones at the forefront and rear of the team. As the leader of a team, a team supervisor must keep \"three types of records\" in order to lead his team effectively. There should be a “detailed account” for team members. Team members are the core of a team; to manage the team effectively, a team leader must have a clear understanding of each member’s basic information. A detailed record of each team member’s personal details should be kept, including their technical skills, practical proficiency, educational level, age, and family situation. In the workplace, by taking into account the nature and characteristics of the job, as well as the complementary aspects of individual personalities, the team structure is arranged and adjusted appropriately, so as to form the optimal combination of employees. This enables them to complement one another’s strengths, effectively mobilizing their initiative and achieving mutual benefits. There should be a “diary” of work activities. As the saying goes, \"A good memory is not as reliable as a written record.\" ”As is well known, team leaders are responsible for managing their teams, carrying out instructions from higher authorities, and coordinating various relationships during production operations; at the same time, they must also complete their own tasks. If they do not keep a record of their daily work, over time many of their production experience insights will fade away as part of their ‘memories’. As a team leader in a chemical manufacturing company, it is essential to keep a detailed record of the day’s work in a \"diary.\" This serves as a summary of the production activities and experiences of the team, as well as a basis for handing over tasks to the next shift, thereby ensuring that all work is completed with high quality and efficiency. There must be a clear assessment of the team’s capabilities. The team leader must have a comprehensive understanding of the overall situation of the team, and maintain an account of the team’s overall strength so as to be aware of its strengths and weaknesses. This enables the leader to provide an appropriate platform for team members, encouraging them to utilize their skills and talents in their respective roles and to hone their professional abilities. By fostering a culture of collective participation rather than relying on just a few top performers, it is possible to enable everyone to learn through work and work through learning, allowing each person to receive comprehensive training and improvement, thereby continuously enhancing the team’s overall strength and core competitiveness.
