The acidic gas flare tower is in use; the acidic gas separation tank has a capacity of 1.16 cubic meters, with inlet and outlet pipes of DN80 diameter. The amount of acidic gas emitted is low. At present, the drain outlet of the acidic gas separation tank is blocked by solid sulfur, making it difficult to deal with this issue. The pipe running from the outlet of the separation tank to the inlet of the condensate transfer pump is also blocked by sulfur. Why is there so much sulfur? How can a clogged pipeline be cleared (all pipelines have 45° elbows)?
The cause needs to be found in the device that discharges acidic gas; otherwise, it will still get clogged. Check the acidic gas emission pipeline; it’s likely that there’s a considerable amount of sulfur deposited inside it as well.
It is still necessary to find the root cause in order to solve the problem fundamentally. If the pipe is blocked, it can be cleared by cutting it into sections at the blockages
