Nor should one focus only on the methods and slogans – it is essential to always adhere to products that have unique characteristics, otherwise success is undoubtedly out of reach. 5. Specialized training: System software and standardized training are the key to implementing TPS, as well as the ongoing responsibility throughout the entire TPS project. It is necessary to provide training across the entire company on the basic theories and methods of sociology and industrial engineering related to TPS. It is also important to pay attention to scientific research on the successful cases and the lessons learned from failures of TPS implementations in various countries around the world. 6. Adhere to a comprehensive planning approach, with parallel development of pilot projects and system software. When Chinese companies develop TPS, they should establish an overall planning strategy from the very beginning, identifying which aspects of implementing TPS still need clarification or improvement as well as the overall goals. This is perhaps the issue regarding the implementation of TPS in state-owned companies of various sizes. Lean production is this newly upgraded corporate culture, rather than a latest management method trend. The transformation from a traditional company to a lean manufacturing company cannot be carried out in a rigid manner; efforts and sacrifices are necessary, and sometimes unexpected difficulties arise, allowing those who are loyal to traditional lean production methods and skeptical about lean management to cite various reasons to argue against it. However, those companies that persistently pursue lean production are able to survive in the market demand in the end and reap the benefits of lean production management.
