Issues regarding HAZOP analysis and SIL classification: If, after the HAZOP analysis and SIL classification, there are new design changes such as the addition of new processes or equipment, is it necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis again, or is it sufficient to analyze only the newly added components and the related parts? Due to design changes, data related to processes and equipment has changed in the safety assessment report. Should the safety assessment report be modified according to the actual situation? HAZOP analysis and SIL classification are required during the design evaluation phase of new, renovated, or expanded projects. If issues are found, it is necessary to amend the design evaluation report or have the design institute issue a change certificate; otherwise, how can the project pass acceptance in the future?
