I would like to ask fellow industry professionals: Both using the Axens fluidized bed technology, Hengli’s 2*3.2 million tons/year fluidized bed reactors were hoisted into place in July 2018, and they came online in April 2019; The Zhenhai 2.6 million tons/year fluidized bed reactor was hoisted in April 2018, and the work was completed by CCCC in August 2019 ; Why is there such a large difference in the construction periods? Both projects probably started on-site construction around mid-2017, and it seems they were both designed by Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Company. Could those who work for Hengli Construction (CNPC First Construction) share some information?

The combination of the technical, quality, and safety expertise accumulated over many years within the state-owned enterprise sector, with the flexibility of private (market) mechanisms, could reshape the future development of these traditional industries.
Senior, I fully agree with your views and principles. By combining the rigor of state-owned enterprises with the efficiency, pragmatism, and hands-on approach of private enterprises, this model will prove to be highly effective in accelerating project development, especially that of key projects.
Another point worth noting is Maoming’s 2.6 million-ton slurry bed process; its operating conditions and investment are similar to those of the bubbling bed process. The reactor was installed there in January 2019, and it’s not clear whether feeding has started yet. Those who are interested can compare it with Zhejiang Petrochemical’s 3 million-ton slurry bed process.
