Requirements for the installation of safety exits in factories and warehouses: Each fire compartment, or each floor within a fire compartment, must have no fewer than 2 safety exits. When only one safety exit is provided, the following requirements must be met: For each floor of a factory building, the floor area shall be ≤ the value specified for that factory category, and the number of workers working there shall also be ≤ the corresponding limit: Category A – 100㎡ per 5 workers; Category B – 150㎡ per 10 workers; Category C – 250㎡ per 20 workers; Categories D and E – 400㎡ per 30 workers. For underground or semi-underground facilities, the area shall be ≤ 50㎡ per 15 workers. For warehouses, the floor area shall be ≤ 300㎡, or the area of each fire compartment shall be ≤ 100㎡, or the area of underground/semi-underground areas shall be ≤ 100㎡. In underground or semi-underground factories (rooms, warehouses), if these areas are divided into multiple fire compartments using fire walls, and each fire compartment is equipped with an independent safety exit leading directly outside, then the fire door on the fire wall that leads to the adjacent compartment can be used as a second safety exit for that compartment
