At around 8:15 on the 6th, maintenance personnel from the company’s service provider, MCC Baosteel Technical Services Co., Ltd., discovered an abnormal ash leakage in Bin D of the desulfurization and denitrification system for the belt furnace at the MaSteel Ironmaking Plant, a project undertaken by this company； At around 9:46, 6 workers from MCC Baosteel went to the site to carry out emergency repairs ； At around 10:16, the lower part of Warehouse D suddenly cracked, and approximately 50 tons of desulfurization ash was ejected, knocking 4 workers from the fourth-floor platform to the second-floor platform (3 of them died despite attempts to save them, while 1 is being treated in the hospital with stable vital signs) ； On the fourth-floor platform, another buried worker was found after intensive search and rescue efforts, but already without any signs of life ； One person also suffered a minor burn to the hand and evacuated the scene on their own.
