Strictly speaking, it is prohibited to use crane baskets for carrying people. But in cases where only crane baskets can be used to transport people for work, let’s discuss whether the safety belts should be attached to the same basket as the people or separately

I think it’s sufficient to hang the safety belt on the basket; could there really be a situation where the basket falls while the person remains hanging in mid-air? Aren’t you afraid of being torn to pieces? If it’s divided into parts, how can we ensure simultaneous rising and falling? If, by accident, the two are not synchronized, wouldn’t that be creating problems where none exist?
Do not carry people unless necessary; if it is necessary, it should be hung on the crane hook so that the person remains safe in case the basket falls.
The passenger hoists used in legitimate companies are subject to testing, with proper safety measures in place, resulting in an almost zero probability of the hoist falling.
