Recently, Yanshan Petrochemical’s 3 polypropylene packaging lines began using 0.12-millimeter-thick packaging film. Thus, all 13 packaging lines for the company’s synthetic resin products are now equipped with 0.12-millimeter thick packaging film, which not only improves the operational efficiency of these lines but is also expected to reduce packaging costs by over 3 million yuan per year. 　　It is understood that the repackaging film has a three-layer co-extruded structure, offering excellent sealing, moisture resistance, water resistance, and stain resistance. In recent years, Yanshan Petrochemical has actively promoted the greening of product packaging, accelerated the improvement of the quality of packaging for synthetic resin products, and driven continuous new breakthroughs in projects aimed at reducing the thickness of heavy-duty films. 　　In March 2021, the thickness of the overpackaging film used for the outer packaging of Yanshan Petrochemical’s synthetic resin products was reduced from 0.16 millimeters to 0.14 millimeters. In March 2022, the company successfully replaced 0.14-millimeter packaging film with 0.12-millimeter packaging film on the first polypropylene packaging line at its storage and transportation facility, and later extended this application to other synthetic resin packaging lines as well. Currently, the synthetic resin packaging line at Yanshan Petrochemical has achieved full coverage with 0.12-millimeter thick packaging film. In the on-site drop test, the 0.12 mm thick film packaging demonstrated excellent resistance to drops, indicating high-quality packaging.
