5 achievements by Sinopec were recognized as **first-class results in quality management team activities 2024/12/18 Recently, the results of the 2024 **quality management team activity awards, organized by the China Quality Association, were announced, and 5 achievements by Sinopec were awarded first-class status.   These 5 achievements are as follows: Yangzi Petrochemical’s “reduction of the total non-methane hydrocarbons content in the wastewater system of its butadiene plant”; Tianjin Petrochemical’s “reduction of the steam consumption per unit of output at its No. 2 delayed coking unit at 1.0 megapascal”; Jiangsu Petroleum’s “development of a new method for determining silicon content in vehicle diesel”; Shengli Oilfield’s “development of specialized lifting equipment for station and warehouse equipment”; and Jinling Petrochemical’s “reduction of the monthly nitrogen consumption in the VOCs system of its raw material storage areas”.   This event aims to implement the requirements of the \"Outline for Building a Country Strong in Quality\", to create a national platform for exchanging ideas on quality improvement and innovation, to stimulate innovative momentum, to cultivate innovative talents, and to support the development of new forms of productive capacity. To date, 7 editions of this event have been held this year. Since March, through voluntary submissions by enterprises across the country, selection and recommendation by quality associations in various provinces and cities as well as central state-owned enterprises, along with review and comprehensive evaluation by the China Quality Association, the results for the first, second, and third prize categories were finally determined. Among them, first-class achievements will have the opportunity to go abroad and compete for awards at the international quality management team conference in the following year.
