The liquid hydrocarbon storage tank is located in the wilderness; does its safety valve also need to be connected to a flare system?
Can you release it directly into the atmosphere?
It is feasible from a safety perspective; it depends on the environmental protection requirements.
Can it meet environmental standards? The last ground torch.
Can it be released into the atmosphere using a vent pipe?
I was wondering if there are any guidelines regarding this?

According to GB50160-2008, clause 6.3.13, the outlet pipe of the safety valve of liquefied hydrocarbon storage tanks should be connected to the flare system. In cases of genuine difficulty, venting can be done on-site, but the exhaust outlet must be at least 3 meters above the tank roof platform within a radius of 8 meters. Wilderness? Well, in the vast wilderness, the sky seems low above the trees; with clear rivers, the moon appears closer to us. Gas can be released freely without causing any discomfort to people. :lol
It seems it can be discharged directly to a high, safe location without the need for flares; thank you! But I still don’t feel completely at ease.
