Recently, the integration project for the air compressors of Maoming Petrochemical’s CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) boilers and the chemical industry air compression station was officially put into operation. By developing an intelligent industrial air supply allocation system, this project enhances both the stability of air supply and the capacity for emergency response, achieving significant savings in energy consumption. The project innovatively adopts an interconnected and redundant technical solution by installing dedicated pipelines between the CFB boiler unit and the air compressor station, as well as intelligent control valve assemblies, thereby breaking down the barriers that prevented the separate operation of the existing systems. A two-way mutual air supply mechanism is established to achieve intelligent balance through \"air supply based on demand and two-way replenishment.\" This not only eliminates the risk of a complete system shutdown due to failures in a single pipeline, but also effectively addresses the issue of inefficient operation caused by fans having to handle excessive workload. Operators can use the digital control system to precisely adjust the number and power of the conveyor fans based on real-time production requirements, thereby eliminating waste resulting from air compressor venting and significantly improving energy efficiency – thus providing new impetus for the sustainable and low-carbon development of the enterprise.
