According to information from the Intellectual Property Office as of August 23, 2025, **Shanghai Petrochemical Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd., Sinopec Ningbo Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Sinopec Refining & Chemical Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. have been granted a patent titled “Second-stage slag removal heat exchanger for flash bottom oil,” with the approval announcement number CN223258671U. The application was filed in August 2024. The patent abstract indicates that this application discloses a two-stage slag reduction heat exchanger for flash bottom oil, and relates to the field of heat exchanger technology. This application includes a heat exchanger body, to which two connection plates 1 are symmetrically and fixedly attached. Tube boxes are installed at both ends of the heat exchanger body, and two connection plates 2 are symmetrically and fixedly attached to these tube boxes. A liquid inlet pipe is fixedly attached to the upper part of the heat exchanger body. This application is equipped with a connecting mechanism; by pressing down on the L-shaped block, it is pulled completely out of the through-hole. At this point, the C-shaped block is pulled outward to be removed from outside the fixing frame, which in turn allows the C-shaped block to be taken out of the connection grooves in connection disc 1 and connection disc 2. This enables rapid separation of the heat exchanger body from the tube box, allowing for quick replacement and maintenance of the heat exchange tubes without the need for any tools. It significantly increases the speed at which the heat exchanger body and the tube box can be separated or reconnected, making the maintenance process faster and less labor-intensive. As a result, the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchange tubes inside the heat exchanger body is effectively maintained, while the energy consumption of the heat exchanger body is reduced.
