As of August 12, the three boilers at Lu’an Chemical Tianji Group had been in operation simultaneously for over 200 days, setting a new record in the history of boiler operation and production. From January to July, Tianji Group maintained stable production, with its products meeting market demand. During that time, the 3 boilers of Tianji Group played a crucial role in ensuring safe operations for production. As a utility at the forefront of Tianji Group’s integrated production process, the boiler plays a particularly crucial role. Guided by the lean philosophy, the company has vigorously promoted a culture of cost accounting, calculating costs based on a 200-day operation cycle with 3 boilers in use; this approach has yielded significant benefits in terms of operation time, power generation efficiency, reduced fuel consumption, and coal consumption per ton of steam produced. In addition, Tianji Group attaches great importance to the stable operation of the 3 boilers, and has carried out a series of technical upgrades and modifications to these boiler systems, laying a solid foundation for their safe continuous operation. Boiler B was upgraded with combustion optimization to achieve stable combustion. On this basis, they replaced the high-pressure steam pipes of the 3 boilers, optimized the combustion systems of boilers A and C, and upgraded the low-temperature air preheaters of boiler C. They planned to replace the secondary superheaters of boilers A and B, completed maintenance work on the 3 desulfurization towers, and carried out modifications to reduce ammonia emissions in boiler B’s denitration system.
