According to a report from Sinochem New Network, the General Office of the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government recently sent a letter to the province’s Development and Reform Commission approving the expansion and reorganization of three industrial development zones, including the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Park. With the approval of the provincial government, the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Park and Yongfeng Industrial Park will see their areas expanded or reorganized, while the Wannian High-Tech Industrial Park will also have its layout adjusted. It is reported that after the expansion and reorganization of the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Park, its approved area is 1,469.27 hectares ； After the expansion and reorganization of the Yongfeng Industrial Park, the approved area is 918.33 hectares ； The approved area of the Wannian High-Tech Industrial Park after the zone adjustment is 982.43 hectares. The boundaries and coordinates of the boundary points after the expansion or adjustment of the area are determined by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources. Jiangxi Province requires that the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Park, Yongfeng Industrial Park, and Wannian High-Tech Industrial Park earnestly implement the guidelines set forth by the provincial Party committee and government regarding the promotion of reform, innovation, and development in these industrial parks, as well as the deepening of reforms to their management systems. These parks should reform and improve their management structures and operational mechanisms, make efforts to advance project construction, foster and strengthen specialized industries, enhance supporting service functions, and thus become powerful drivers and growth points for the high-quality development of the regional economy. It is necessary to strictly implement relevant plans such as the overall national land use plan and environmental protection plan, go through the proper procedures for land use approval, and carry out construction on the premise of making efficient and intensive use of land resources. Jiangxi Province also requires that the governments of Shangrao and Ji’an cities strengthen leadership and management, coordinate the planning, construction, and governance of cities and development zones, enhance the comprehensive functions of these development zones, and provide stronger policy support. Land and forest land expropriation must be carried out in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as proper compensation and resettlement for farmers who lose their land. All measures related to environmental protection, work safety, and risk prevention must be implemented rigorously; arable land and permanent basic farmland must be strictly protected, and water resources must be effectively conserved. Jiangxi Province also requires relevant departments to strengthen guidance, support, and follow-up oversight of the Yushan High-Tech Industrial Park, Yongfeng Industrial Park, and Wannian High-Tech Industrial Park, in order to promote the high-quality development of these development zones.
