In a sewage treatment plant, there was a lot of hydrochloric acid in the original room, and a lot of the hydrochloric acid was spilled on the ground. Later, due to the storage of hydrogen peroxide, the hydrochloric acid was moved to other warehouses. One day, while the hydrogen peroxide storage tank was being repaired, a large amount of hydrogen peroxide spilled onto the ground. During the operation, the operator suffered from nausea and vomiting. I was puzzled at the time, but after analysis, I learned that the hydrogen peroxide reacted with the hydrochloric acid that penetrated into the ground to release chlorine.
