Ask the electrical staff to handle it; they have procedures for this. What I did was to bury galvanized angle steel deep around the base, and connect it with galvanized flat steel to form a closed loop. Take one point around the tower as a grounding point; it seems that hot-dip galvanized flat steel (or round steel) should be used to connect directly to the top of the tower. Four pieces of galvanized material should be used as lightning rods, with copper being the best choice. Actually, a cold box is a conductor, so it’s sufficient to connect it directly to the ground wire. You can turn to the local power supply department for guidance. Also, in the event of a lightning strike, rather than jumping out of the vehicle, it’s better to check the lightning protection and grounding facilities in the power distribution room to see if they are in good condition.
