As the title suggests, let’s discuss the current operating status of the methanol-water separation tower in your plant, focusing on the following three points: 1. What type of structure is used in the methanol-water separation tower at your plant? 2. Can it meet your processing requirements? What is the water content in the lean methanol now? 3. Are there any technical upgrades available in cases where the requirements cannot be met? What optimizations were made? Thereby meeting the processing requirements of your factory.
Our plant uses sieve plate towers, which are sufficient to meet the processing requirements. The water content in the lean methanol is currently around 0.5%. No technical upgrades have been carried out; if such upgrades are to be done, it is recommended to change the location of the feed
