In our plant, the operating temperature of the methanol synthesis tower ranges from 210 to 265°C, with an operating pressure of less than 5 Mpa. The design specifications require the use of ceramic balls with an AL2O3 content of over 95%. However, based on various available sources, it is possible to meet the required temperature and pressure conditions using refractory balls with a lower AL2O3 content.
