Harbin Boiler wins bid for Shenhua Yulin methanol synthesis tower project Author/Source: Date: 2018-04-08 Clicks: 27 Recently, Harbin Boiler Factory of Harbin Electric Group successfully won the bid for the CTC project’s David methanol synthesis tower at Shenhua Yulin Energy and Chemical Company, marking the end of an era in which the design and manufacture of such towers relied on imports. It is reported that the Shenhua Yulin CTC project is currently the largest coal chemical project under construction in China. The methanol synthesis tower for this project utilizes technology from the British company David, and it was designed and manufactured by Harbin Boiler Group. Due to the extremely high requirements regarding the design, manufacturing, materials, and testing of David methanol synthesis towers, their production has until now been monopolized by foreign manufacturing giants. Haogo faced the challenges head-on and, thanks to its advanced technical capabilities and superior manufacturing standards, earned the recognition of the British company David. To secure this project, Harbin Boiler actively promoted its product and technical advantages, ultimately standing out among numerous domestic and international competitors. This is also another successful collaboration between Harbin Boiler Group and Shenhua Group on the CTC project, following their cooperation on boilers and gasifiers.
