During the operation of the catalytic absorption tower, what effects will it have on the tower’s performance if the crude gasoline from the fractionation tower contains water?
Is it because the absorption tower operates at low temperatures, so a little water doesn’t have much of an impact?
The impact is minimal; after gasoline is absorbed, acidic water is used to wash away the ammonium salts!
It has little impact on the absorption tower; however, if water is introduced later, it will have a significant effect on the stripping tower.
It can be said that the direct impact is small, but the indirect impact is significant! There will be a heating system at the back, and the water vapor partial pressure will change!
