The alcohol content in the residue at the bottom of the methanol distillation tower has suddenly increased. Is it accurate to determine the alcohol content using a hydrometer and by referring to tables for calculations?
The alcohol meter, along with temperature and chromatography, can all maintain low levels of error
The error is small within 1%, but it is definitely large at the PPM level
