In a high-vacuum distillation tower, the fluidity is good when the medium is high. However, when the distillation is about to end, it is easy to agglomerate when the temperature drops. I started using a Yokogawa diaphragm double flange level gauge, but it broke within a few days. Now I use an ABB air-blown differential pressure level gauge. It works normally when the temperature is high, but it takes a few days to clear the crystals in the pressure tube. Can you recommend a good solution?
Since double flanges can be used, there must be external flange ports. You can consider jacketed pontoons, radars, etc.
We have used radar before and it was very good. The guide tube jacket is insulated.
Due to material characteristics, if there are problems with the liquid level meter during use, the measurement method of tank weighing can be considered. Since the tank load cell is installed outside the tank, it is very suitable for measuring corrosive, high-temperature, low-temperature and poor-flowing materials. The measurement results are not affected by process parameters such as tank shape, material temperature or material viscosity.

1. Select a differential pressure gauge for high vacuum working conditions - a big mistake. The differential pressure measurement value will be affected by changes in the degree of vacuum and become inaccurate. 2. The material liquid is solidified and hardened, allowing the diaphragm to contact the liquid to take the pressure - a big mistake. The diaphragm will be damaged and it will die. 3. See the pictures for popular science.
In high temperature and high vacuum, the effect of differential pressure is not good, and it is easy to damage and expensive. You can try rod radar. The application also depends on the specific situation. Problems such as rod dielectric constant and foam are generally not encountered.
The differential pressure diaphragm will hang materials, the blow pipe will hang materials, and the pole of the rod radar will not hang materials? Brother, my pig head is not working well, I thought for a while with the pig's feet, and I speak on behalf of my little toe.: Radar crazy man, forget it. :lol
Differential pressure (non-double flange transmitter) can be solved. You can use one differential pressure transmitter (ordinary) to measure directly, or you can use two ordinary transmitters to calculate the liquid level through differential pressure. You can also use ERS mode. But all must be isolated and pressure-taking (not in direct contact with the medium). We have solved this kind of working conditions in this way, and the effect is very good. For example, the liquid level, asphalt liquid level and interface level of the pressure reduction tower with high vacuum degree and high temperature are all set in this way, and the effect is much better than expected. Maintenance is also very small and simple.
How to achieve isolation and pressure taking? Can you introduce it in detail?
The 18-meter-high distillation tower cannot be used for weighing, right?
