On the morning of August 9, after more than an hour of continuous work, the nitrogen stripping tower in the methanol purification unit for Yueneng Chemical’s completion project was lifted into place. This is the first tower equipment to be lifted using this device, completing the task 30 days ahead of schedule. It is understood that the nitrogen stripping tower arrived at the construction site on August 6. After completing the welding of the ladder platform attached to the tower, the personnel from the methanol project team worked closely with the lifting crew from the construction company to resolve the issues related to the lifting site. At the same time, safety and technical instructions were provided to ensure that all relevant tasks were carried out properly. It is reported that after the installation of the ladder and platform attached to it, the nitrogen stripping tower weighs 31 tons and has a total length of 27.95 meters. This lifting operation not only created space for the lifting of other tower structures, but also provided valuable experience for related construction work on site.
