We have a very large tower that needs to undergo hydrostatic testing. After the testing is complete, how can the water be reused?
Yes, but it requires a recycling system, storage tanks, pumps, pipes, filters, and so on
There are costs associated with recycling, you know :)
If the space permits, dig a pit for storage; after the liquid has settled, it can be reused in the future; If the space does not allow it, a simple tank can be used to store as much water as possible; this water will then be unusable for the hydraulic testing of the stainless steel tower next time
It’s possible to recycle it, but you need to prepare a water storage tank as well as other supporting facilities. Under normal circumstances, we just let it go, as it doesn’t seem to serve any purpose
Under normal circumstances, it is discharged; recycling would require several times the cost of water treatment. Or there is a storage tank nearby that requires pressure testing.
The pressure test water is filled with rust, welding slag, and debris left over from the construction process – what’s there to recover? Fill the toilet or mop the floor?
Generally, it goes into the WWT wastewater treatment plant, makes a round trip, and is then put to use again. . . It’s not just a matter of letting it go directly.
This water is deionized water, but recycling it seems to be costly, so it is usually discarded.
