On March 5, Shaanxi Huajian Lifting and Transportation Company successfully carried out the lifting of the synthesis tower for the methanol synthesis unit as part of the Yanchang Zhongmei Yu Nenghua project. This was the first large-scale equipment lifting since the resumption of work on this project, and it received high praise from the owner. The methanol synthesis tower has a net weight of 390 tons, a diameter of 3.857 meters, and a height of 25.2 meters. Huajian uses a 1,250-ton crawler crane as the main lifting device and a 450-ton crawler crane for assisting with the lifting, working from top to bottom. To ensure the smooth completion of the lifting operation, the project team developed a detailed lifting plan, preparing the site and marking out the boundaries two days in advance, as well as selecting the appropriate locations for the main crane and the auxiliary crane. Before starting the lifting process, they assigned clear roles to the crane operators; during lifting, the main crane raised the load slowly while the auxiliary crane assisted by moving it along, and through processes such as rotation and lifting, the load was finally placed safely on the pedestal.
