I’m a newcomer asking: a vacuum tower or distillation tower is equipped with a high-pressure interlock; what are the risks if this interlock is removed?
Once the vacuum is broken, the entire distillation tower can no longer operate; both the temperature and pressure inside the tower increase, which may lead to safety hazards or quality issues； Interlock can cut off the feed or steam in this situation.
