Xinjiang Xinlianxin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Manasta River Industrial Park and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henan Xinlianxin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. The company invested 2.75 billion yuan in the early stage, using raw coal from two coal mines, Manastianli and Tianxin Coal Mines, to build a project with an annual output of 280,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 480,000 tons of urea, 100,000 tons of melamine, and 150,000 compound fertilizers, of which 117.721 million yuan was invested in environmental protection, with an environmental protection investment ratio of 4.35%. In the later stage, optimization and transformation will be carried out on the basis of the 280,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia and 480,000 tons/year urea projects, the existing engineering transformation and methanol washing devices will be modified, and a 150,000 tons/year refined methanol production line will be built, with an environmental protection investment of 2.45 million yuan and an environmental protection investment ratio of 2.5%. Due to the current severe overcapacity of methanol in the country, the construction unit decided to expand downstream industries and build new formaldehyde production processes, parformaldehyde production processes, dioxolane production processes, polymerization production processes and auxiliary facilities in the factory. The methanol originally used for sale will be used to produce polyformaldehyde. The final production capacity of polyformaldehyde resin will reach 60,000 t/a, thereby improving the overall economic benefits of the enterprise.
