At 16:00 on May 1, accompanied by the humming sound of the exhaust silencer, more good news came from the construction site of the polyoxymethylene project at Kaifeng Longyu Chemical – Boiler No. 3 was successfully ignited and began to produce steam one month ahead of schedule. Thus, all the utility systems such as the 35KV substation, gas station, circulating water system, and demineralized water system have been put into operation, allowing the polyoxymethylene project to enter the stage of individual unit testing for the main production equipment ahead of schedule. The polyoxymethylene project is a key project in Henan Province, as well as a key project for continuation of construction by Henan Coal Chemical Group Company in 2010. To ensure steam generation by May 1st and the production of qualified polyoxymethylene products by the end of the year, the employees of Kaifeng Longyu Chemical have organized their efforts carefully and carried out construction in a scientific manner. Seizing the current optimal construction season, they launched a \"100-Day Installation Campaign,\" sparking a new wave of enthusiasm for project development. The employees overcame numerous difficulties such as technical complexity and high construction challenges; they gave up the opportunity to spend holidays with their families, worked overtime, and strived day and night to deliver a satisfactory result to the group company. The trial operation of Boiler No. 3 provided an important guarantee for the subsequent purging of the equipment and joint commissioning, laying a solid foundation for producing qualified products by the end of the year.
