What color should chemical plant pumps, fans, compressors and other equipment be painted?
There are unified regulations for large projects, and there will be requirements in the feasibility study and preliminary design before construction. If it is a single new piece of equipment, it should match the rest of the equipment. Generally, the compressor is gray, the main body of the pump is silver, and the paint for necessary accessories, such as wheel covers, is generally red or yellow, which serves as a warning.
I don’t know what kind of fan you are referring to. If it is air-cooled, you don’t need to ask for it. It is so high that others can’t usually see it. If it is an indoor accident/operation, the exhaust fan will be silver gray, which is more resistant to dirt;P
