Our company now installs a canned pump at the tricyanide storage tank. I am currently studying* Stage, as shown below, should the pump body use refrigerant or heat medium at the inlet flange of the return pipeline on the canned pump?
Is the tricyanide you are talking about melamine?
Can you explain why it is a hot media and what it does? When cooling the motor, use the conveying medium directly?
It seems that the inlet pipe of your pump is jacketed. What is the melting point of the medium? It feels like the pump casing should be equipped with a jacketed pipeline for heat media.
In this case, whether you use refrigerant or heat medium mainly depends on the nature of the material transported by the pump. The melting point of tricyanopyridine is around 50°C. If you use refrigerant, it will solidify in the return pipe and become a solid substance, thus losing fluidity. How can you ensure the return flow? So it must be a hot media.
The inlet flange of the return line above the pump casing is equipped with a jacketed pipe for heat medium in the pump body.
