Everyone, after using a pneumatic diaphragm pump, can the pump inlet line be connected to a nitrogen line in order to purge the remaining fluid from the pump? Will this cause any damage to the pump?
At least the condensate inside the pump should be drained first, right?

Based on my experience, the inlet pressure of a pneumatic diaphragm pump should not exceed half a kilogram; too high a pressure can damage the diaphragm.
This is not very good. The principle of a diaphragm pump is that the diaphragm swings back and forth to drive the liquid. Blowing with nitrogen to remove residual medium from the pump is ineffective. Excessive pressure causes damage to the diaphragm

Is the process medium special in any way, such as whether it may condense inside the pump? 3. Service life: if it is to be stored for a long time, cleaning is definitely necessary. 4. Generally speaking, a pump must be cleaned after use; those who work with equipment cannot be so careless. In short, as long as the airflow and pressure during nitrogen purging are properly controlled, its impact on the pump is not significant. I hope for active discussion.
