Our company is planning to install a new set of equipment, and a vacuum system is required. With environmental considerations in mind, in order to reduce wastewater discharge, we are considering using dry vacuum pumps. The medium involved mainly consists of water, propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, or styrene and acrylonitrile. I would like to ask if anyone has any good recommendations for dry vacuum pumps Can a claw-type vacuum pump be used for this medium? Or are dry screw pumps and Roots pumps better? Specifically, it comes down to the vacuum level; a low vacuum requirement means a rotary vane pump will suffice. Generally, it is a rotary vane pump + claw-type (screw) pump system
