What are the common causes of high current and excessive vibration in shielded pumps?
Are there any solid impurities inside?
There is no configuration of two pumps in operation with one as backup; when one of the pumps in use fails, the backup pump is started. After inspection, if the failed pump is functioning normally, it is restarted, resulting in high current levels and excessive vibration
Where does TRG indicate it is? It’s possible that the bearing is worn out; take it apart and check.
After disassembly and maintenance, severe wear led to high current and significant vibration.
In shielded pumps, the motor and the pump share the same shaft, so excessive vibration levels are generally not an issue.
