Have you ever used the Trico watchdog oiler?

Ordinary oil cups have been used on the pump; this time, the user specified a watchdog. Does anyone know anything about this product? Want to know the working principle? Do the specifications indicate that it must be used in a closed system, together with other components such as equalizer expansion chambers or tubes? Can an open-system directly replace a regular oil cup?
It’s just an oil reservoir; the TRICO oil reservoir can automatically top up oil and comes with an oil level gauge. It has nothing to do with any closed system, right? It doesn’t need to be used together with any other components either! Send over the complete “materials” you mentioned so I can take a look
