I would like to ask everyone whether this type of submersible pump can be used in this way: with no users around, it runs continuously without any flow of water, with users using the water only intermittently. What are the problems with using it this way?
Isn’t this just idling? For a short time, a few times is fine, but it will break if used for a long time.
Just install a pressure sensor or similar component, using the pressure in the outlet pipe as a switching signal to automatically start and stop it, right? Why is it running but not producing any output?
Does running it waste electricity? It’s better to turn it off; start it again only when users need it
It is possible to use this approach by adding a return pipeline, or by employing variable-frequency control； If the pipeline pressure drops, the pump starts; it stops when a certain pressure is reached.
