What are the requirements for the flushing oil in the mechanical seal of hot oil pumps?
It’s white oil, right! We are replacing the oil with white oil in our device
Consider the conveying medium, temperature, and pressure.
It should have properties similar to those of the medium being transported, be clean and free of impurities; oils are generally white oil, and for methanol plants, methanol is sufficient. The choice ultimately depends on the medium being transported.
The medium intended for use can be used directly; if no such medium is available, white oil is generally used.
