The plant plans to replace the centrifugal pumps with magnetic pumps. What precautions should be taken during removal and replacement? We can discuss how to carry out this project
It basically comes down to selecting a pump, installing piping, and redoing the foundation~~
The inlet and outlet pipelines may need to be adjusted. As for the foundation, since the pump isn’t very large, if the existing foundation bolt holes cannot be used, chemical anchor bolts can be employed
The import and export pipelines need to be modified; the foundation probably does not need to be rebuilt
Make sure the materials in the pipelines before and after the pump are properly cleaned
Could you explain the reason for the renovation? What medium does the pump transport? Don’t forget to adjust the current overload protection setting after the modification!
Magnetic drive pumps are not suitable for liquids containing solid particles or those that are highly corrosive (especially strong alkalines such as sodium hydroxide), and the cost of repairs for them is high. The advantage is no leakage.
