Pump selection

This post was last edited by 3983596_FPPZ on 2018-11-21 08:30. Pump selection required: flow rate of 0.25 m3/h, head of 42 meters; fluid: methyl diethanolamine; viscosity: 1.85 mPa·s. Which pump would be suitable for this application, and what type of mechanical seal should be used?
The flow rate is too low; it’s better to use a metering pump
Venturi pump, tangential flow pump, material 304, option 02 FFKM seal
It is more appropriate to choose a diaphragm metering pump
Diaphragm metering pump. If pulsation is a concern, choose a magnetically driven gear metering pump.
The flow rate is too low; it is better to use a metering pump, one with a backpressure control valve at its outlet, as this helps to maintain stability in the pressure at the pump outlet and reduces fluctuations in the feed flow rate.
With such low flow rates and the medium being toxic and harmful, it is best to use a diaphragm metering pump!
