Lubricating oil No. 46 for mechanical pumps

In our factory, the forced lubrication system of the high-speed pumps experiences oil solidification in cold winter conditions, which prevents the lubrication pump from pumping lubricant. How can this problem be solved?
Consider making some modifications by adding an electric heater, and setting a low oil temperature threshold that prevents the machine from starting.
Adding heat tracing is one method. Also, is oil No. 46 the oil recommended by the manufacturer? For the high-speed pumps I use, 4413 high-speed gear oil is employed. There’s no issue of the oil becoming too thick to be pumped, as the original poster mentioned.
It was provided by the manufacturer; can we change the oil specification and model on our own?
Not recommended. Since it was provided by the manufacturer, let’s contact them to resolve the issue; it seems there’s a problem with the lubricant grade chosen by the manufacturer. Have the high-speed pump manufacturers or lubricant manufacturers take a look.
The lubricating oil commonly used for pumps is VG46, which is the standard designation according to ISO; this means that the viscosity of the oil at 40°C is 46 mm2/s. However, different brands use various names for their products – for example, Mobil uses MOBIL GEAR 600XP 46. The gear oil specified for high-speed pumps, 4413, is a Great Wall brand product with a viscosity of around 40 at 40°C, and it has the same range of applications.
Increasing the oil temperature is one method; another option for winter is to use 32#
46# lubricant can freeze in low-temperature weather; the poster can switch to 32# lubricant.
High-speed pumps can use high-speed gear oil due to their high rotational speeds.
It is recommended to use Great Wall ATF-III transmission fluid.
