If a valve is installed at the outlet of the diaphragm pump and closed, won’t that damage the pump? So how can the flow rate be adjusted while protecting the pump itself from damage?
60%-80% is the optimal operating flow range for diaphragm pumps.

I think the simplest way is to add a \"back pressure valve\" at the outlet, leaving the outlet valve unchanged. The backpressure valve will hold back the outlet pressure.
