Are there any requirements regarding the length of the inlet pipeline for cam pumps?

The inlet location and piping of the original cam pump have been modified. The cam pump was originally located on the south side of the tank, with its inlet also on the south side; now the inlet has been moved to the north side of the tank, an increase of almost 10 meters. After the modification, the pump does not deliver any flow – could it be that the inlet piping is too long?
Is there a check valve at the pump inlet, and how is the air discharge inside the pump??? Additionally, a pipe should be installed at the location where the wall is penetrated, to prevent the equipment from being damaged by stress changes. For reference.
