Diaphragm metering pump, with a pressure of 16.6 MPa and a flow rate of 350 L per hour; the medium is carbon disulfide, at room temperature. Pressure starts to build after operation, and the flow rate is unstable. The condition of the diaphragm after disassembly is shown in the image. What caused this condition of the diaphragm?

What brand of diaphragm pump can generate such high pressure? Why not choose a plunger pump?
