In centrifugal pumps, the oil level shown in the sight glass is always only around one-tenth, as the oil outlet at the bottom of the oil cup is located below the oil level sight glass. Is such a design reasonable? Can the pump run for a long time?
In a normal leveling oil cup, the upper edge of the inclined opening is aligned with the center of the oil sight window; if the oil cup has an adjustable level, then adjust it accordingly. The oil level should be at the center of the lowest ball. You can check the bearing specifications to calculate the correct oil level.
Check whether the opening of the oil sight glass and the opening of the oil reservoir are at the same level; this should not happen under normal circumstances. Generally, ensuring that there is oil in the oil reservoir is sufficient to maintain an appropriate oil level in the bearing area.
Maintain the oil level at the midpoint of the rolling elements below the bearing.
Generally, there is a filling port at the top of the bearing housing; it is recommended to fill it to 2/3 of this level in order to maintain an appropriate oil level and ensure that the bearings are properly lubricated
Under normal conditions, fill it to 2/3 here to ensure the fuel tank level is proper and that the bearings are lubricated! However, in some cases it is installed so that the bottom of the oil cup is higher than the sight glass, thereby preventing oil from leaking from the shaft end; you need to check whether the oil level is at the center line of the bearing.
If it is adjustable, turn the crosspiece that supports the oil cup tube a few notches upward until the liquid level is appropriate; if it is not adjustable, add a section of plastic tube to raise the oil cup
