Why do the water seals and seal boxes of the desulfurization circulation pump keep breaking down? ?

I would ask the experts to help resolve this issue. The desulfurization circulation pump is a Zeus pump, and over time it either develops a damaged water seal or the external sealing box cracks. Is this a quality problem? Is it still caused by improper operation? ?
Are you using the polymer type? It should be called a dynamic seal; there’s a secondary impeller inside, and the oil seal is installed in the packing box, right? There should be flushing water inside the oil seal; close the outlet valve for the flushing water so that pressure builds up! Give it a try and see if it works! Plan to change the sealing box to stainless steel! I don’t know if they have them; it’s best to call and confirm!

The K-type dynamic seal you use has a simple structure and low cost; however, if there are many particulate impurities present, it becomes even more prone to damage than regular wear parts – in fact, it breaks down very easily. With such harsh operating conditions, lifespan is not even a consideration. . If funding permits, it is recommended to switch to a mechanical seal type with cooling water flushing, which will **increase** its lifespan.
