Pump selection issue

Everyone, we’ve encountered such a problem recently; I was wondering if the experts here know what’s going on? During the bidding process, one company chose a 30kW pump, and another company also selected a 30kW pump. However, later on it became necessary to increase the head capacity of these pumps; one company upgraded its pump to 55kW, while the other company kept using the same 30kW pump – why is that? Even if the efficiencies of the two are different, they can’t differ by that much.

Let’s see by how much the head increases. One of them went directly from 30KW to 55KW, skipping the 45KW stage; the power increase is significant. It seems that they changed the type of pump

One remains the same, while the other becomes 55 directly. Has your head pressure increased significantly compared to before?
Choose one with high power; otherwise you’ll regret it terribly. Overcurrent situations can be anticipated.
