As the title suggests, are there any spacing requirements for pumps in different media?
Refer to SH3011-2000 \"General Principles for the Layout Design of Petrochemical Process Units\" 3.10 Layout of Pumps
3.10.10 Except for small pumps installed on a common foundation, the clear distance between the two pumps should not be less than 0.7 m. 3.10.12 Pumps for flammable liquids whose operating temperature is equal to or higher than their auto-ignition point should be installed in a concentrated area; there should be a fire separation distance of at least 4.5 m between such pumps and those for flammable liquids whose operating temperature is lower than their auto-ignition point ； There should be a fire separation distance of not less than 7.5 m from the liquefied hydrocarbon pump. The \"Design Code for Pump Rooms in Storage and Transportation Systems of Petrochemical Enterprises\" specifies in 6.1 that the clear distance between adjacent pump units (or pump foundations) should not be less than 0.8 m. The clear distance between the pump unit (or pump foundation) and the side wall of the pump house (or the side columns of the pump shed) should not be less than 1.5 m.
