How long is the longest pump you’ve seen, and which manufacturer makes it? The image shows a Wartsila pump.
A vertical multi-stage pump? I have not yet come into contact with pumps that have been in use for more than 200 hours

Why must this be done, why drill? What are the advantages of this design? Can’t another type of structural pump be used as a substitute? Is it just to pursue—the longest? The rotation speed must be very low

It is supported by wear-resistant bearings at both the top and bottom ends; for such a long shaft, are there other bearings for support in the middle as well? What is the design and lubrication system like? What is the purpose of that seal at the very top? A bearing oil seal should suffice.
Is this picture of a laboratory bench? Otherwise, there’s no need to use such a pump in the environment shown in the picture. What is the rotation speed?
