Just follow the specifications provided in the equipment installation manual issued by the manufacturer; if such information is not available, consult the manufacturer. This value varies depending on data such as the actual speed of the equipment, the diameter of the rotor shaft, and the contact surface of the bearing shells. It is best to rely on the data provided by the manufacturer.
A gap of around 0.10 mm is not a problem.
Magnetic pump bearings are also sliding bearings; choosing appropriate tolerances is sufficient, and it seems there isn’t any direct relationship
